🍓 Snack time can be about so much more than eating.

Every child experiences mealtimes differently. Some may be learning to use a spoon, keep food on their plate, communicate what they need, or participate in mealtime routines with greater independence.

And sitting still doesn’t have to be the goal. If a child’s body needs movement, we meet them where they are and help them move safely while continuing to participate.

Through naturalistic, child-led ABA, skills can be practiced within real routines and at a pace that respects each child’s individual needs.
Progress may look like:
✨ Using utensils with greater independence
✨ Communicating wants and needs
✨ Participating safely in mealtime routines
✨ Keeping food and utensils in the eating area
✨ Recognizing and responding to what their body needs

These everyday moments may seem small, but they help build confidence, independence, and skills that can carry over into life at home and in the community.

✨Immediate Openings for Clinic-Based ABA Therapy in Urbandale! ✨

At New View Autism, we provide individualized, child-led, play-based ABA therapy for young children with autism in a warm, welcoming environment where relationships come first. Every child is unique, and we believe therapy should be too. Our team focuses on building communication, social, daily living, and independence skills through engaging, natural learning experiences tailored to each child’s strengths, interests, and needs.

We’re also excited to share that Chrysalis Therapy is now onsite at New View Autism! Families can now access speech therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding therapy—all in one convenient location. This allows for greater collaboration between providers and a more connected, family-centered approach to care.

We know that starting autism services can feel overwhelming. Whether your child has recently received an autism diagnosis, you’re on a waitlist for services, or you’re exploring your options, we’re here to help. Our team is happy to answer your questions, explain the therapy process, and help you determine whether New View Autism is the right fit for your family.
