Oneida Center Our mission is to provide the Oneida Center community with the finest rehabilitation and skilled nursing services anywhere.

Excellence is our goal and good outcomes in recovery and rehabilitation are our daily measures of progress. The history of Oneida Center as a part of the Centers Health Care family has just begun. But our history as a vital part of the New York State health care is well known. The addition of Oneida Center brings another opportunity to create good outcomes for our residents, both long term and short term, and adds an important level of convenience for the people of central New York, who can now access Centers Health Care quality and service in Utica, Cooperstown and Syracuse, as well as in locations both east and west of here. But more important, the outstanding staff and wonderful group of residents that have joined us in Oneida Center add immeasurably to the fabric of the Centers Health Care family. An attractive and well-maintained facility, and boasting a host of special amenities, Oneida Center brings their unique brand of compassionate care and long history of resident and family satisfaction to us along with a strong desire to do even more. And Centers Health Care is adding to that by bringing the very latest in training and on-going staff education and a commitment to our residents that goes far beyond a few weeks, months or years as a resident. From the day you arrive, you’ll be a part of a lifestyle that will make this chapter of your life something truly special. This next chapter in our history is just under way. 🎃 👻 WOW the Activity Department wants to say THANK YOU!!! But that isn’t even the word for it, a HUGE thank you for all the community who came out and showed their Halloween spirit. It was a first event like it and we didn’t know what to expect but it was a GREAT success!!!!! From all the volunteers who helped man each station, to the trunks who decorated and passed out candy. We couldn’t do it without each and everyone of YOU!

Today, we were delighted to welcome Terry Johnson, who brought his music, tunes, and wonderful energy to our residents! Our residents had the opportunity to enjoy an engaging musical experience filled with entertainment, smiles, and moments of joy.

At Oneida Center, we recognize the importance of creating meaningful experiences that promote social engagement, emotional well-being, and an enhanced quality of life for our residents. Music has a special way of bringing people together, sparking cherished memories, and creating opportunities for connection and enjoyment.

Residents participated in a fun and engaging game of Parachute Ball, promoting color recognition, visual coordination, hand-eye coordination, and motor skills. The activity encouraged residents to work together, follow directions, and engage in social interaction while enjoying a stimulating group experience.
