Designed for students in grades 6–8 and taught in partnership with the SafeSitter Babysitter Training Program, covering basic infant and child care, first aid 🩺, rescue breathing, and emergency response.

From spreadsheets to storybooks, Uvalde Memorial Hospital's CFO Terri Contreras visited Benson Educational Complex this week to read to children as part of El Progreso Memorial Library's 2026 Summer Reading Program: Unearth a Story. 📚

Our team also provided coloring pages for the kids. Because story time is always better with a little color. 🎨

Uvalde's next generation of babysitters is ready! 🍼

Yesterday UMH wrapped up the Babysitter's Training Course. It was a full day of hands-on learning for students in grades 6–8. First aid, rescue breathing, infant care, and emergency response. These kids came ready to learn and left ready to work! 💪
