Wellness is not always comfortable or easy.

Sometimes wellness looks like setting a boundary, asking for help, starting therapy or having an honest conversation about how you have been feeling.

During National Wellness Month, remember that taking care of your mental health is not always about doing more on your own. Sometimes, the next step is allowing someone to support you.

The Remedy offers therapy, medication management and advanced treatment options through in-person and virtual appointments. Head to the link in our bio to learn more.

Starting mental health care can feel unfamiliar but knowing what to expect can make the first step feel easier.

When you arrive at The Remedy, our front desk team will help you check in and complete any remaining paperwork. If you have a virtual appointment, our virtual front desk members will also get you checked in and ready to go.

During your appointment, your provider will take time to learn about your symptoms, health history, previous treatment, medications, and goals for care.

Your first visit is not about having all the answers. It is about starting a conversation, asking questions, and working together to determine what support may be right for you.

Ready to get started? Book your initial appointment with us today!

Summer heat can affect more than your comfort, especially if you take medication for your mental health.

Some medications may change how your body regulates temperature, produces sweat, responds to dehydration, or recognizes thirst. This does not mean you should stop taking your medication, but it is a good reason to take extra precautions during periods of extreme heat.

Stay hydrated, spend time in cool spaces, and avoid strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day.

Have questions about your medication and heat? Talk with your provider before making any changes to your treatment.

July is BIPOC Mental Health Month, a time to recognize the unique barriers many communities face when seeking mental health care.

Culture, identity, family experiences, stigma, access to care, and past experiences with healthcare can all shape how someone understands symptoms and asks for support.

At The Remedy, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen and supported in their mental health care.

If you or someone you love is struggling, support can start with a conversation.
