A friend who owns a massage studio recently shared that police conducted an inspection. Without a massage license, establishments are only permitted to perform massages below the knees. Undercover officers visited the massage spa, requested a back massage, and inquired with other clients about their experiences. Once the session was completed and the lack of a license was confirmed, the owner was summoned directly to court. Therefore, always make sure to visit reputable massage establishments with licensed massage therapists who hold a valid Arizona state massage license.

Why You Should Choose a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for Full Body Massage

A full body massage should always be performed by a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). An LMT has completed professional training, passed state licensing requirements, and follows legal and ethical standards designed to protect clients.

Choosing an LMT means:

• Professional knowledge of anatomy, muscles, and body mechanics
• Safe techniques that help prevent injury
• Clean, professional, and regulated environment

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of working with a client who was visiting from New Hampshire. Before the session, she shared that she has been a massage therapist for 25 years, owns her own spa, and has a team of therapists working with her.

During the session, she fell asleep ～always a great sign! Afterward, she told me she felt very relaxed and that my firm pressure was exactly what she needed. She even booked a session for her mother-in-law for this weekend.

Today, I had the opportunity to work with her mother-in-law, who was also very happy with the results. She felt significant relief and relaxation in her back and arms.

Receiving recognition from a fellow massage therapist with so much experience truly means a lot to me. I feel honored and proud, and it motivates me to continue improving and providing the best service possible.

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

This year has been full of waves and challenges, but also strength and gratitude.

My husband went through one health crisis after another-hernia surgery in May, a pulmonary embolism in June, intestinal bleeding and a blood clot in August, and a stomach bleed after that. His emotions have been very unstable throughout these months, which made the journey even heavier for us.

During this time, I took care of him, supported my son, and continued running my massage studio day by day. In July, I also passed my CPC exam on the first try,one of my biggest personal milestones this year.

And my son has been my brightest light: a perfect score on the AASA state math exam, almost full marks in ELA, straight A’s in school, and taking all Honor classes in 8th grade. He also passed the Cogat testing for Tucson University High School and is now waiting for his mid-year grades to determine final admission. His dedication and hard work give me so much comfort and pride every day.

So this Thanksgiving, I want to thank myself for staying strong, and thank my son for staying focused and growing into a remarkable young man.
