“I felt safe, heard, understood, and cared for. I never felt like just a diagnosis. The team treated me as someone who mattered and was worth investing in,” says a local resident who received care at the Precourt Healing Center.

Patients here have access to talk therapy, meditation, yoga, art therapy, and case management—but standard reimbursement covers only basic services, leaving these therapies unfunded. Community generosity fills that gap and has supported care for more than 900 patients since the center opened in May 2025.
