NOTICE OF EARTHLY TRANSITION

It is with profound sympathy and humble hearts that we announce the earthly transition of the Battle family’s beloved Reginald C. Battle, also known as “Reggie” of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Valdosta, Georgia.

Reggie was born on October 19, 1961, and was a treasured son, family member, friend, and servant leader whose life reflected dedication, excellence, and commitment to those around him. After a life filled with meaningful accomplishments, cherished relationships, and countless memories, he crossed from labor to reward in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 64.

A proud graduate of Lowndes High School, he continued his educational journey and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics Management, preparing him for a lifetime of leadership, service, and professional excellence.

Reggie proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, where he achieved the distinguished rank of Command Sergeant Major. His military career was marked by discipline, dedication, leadership, and a commitment to serving others. His legacy of service extended beyond the uniform, as he continued to impact lives through his professional career as a Program Manager, where his knowledge, experience, and leadership were highly respected.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Reggie was a man who enjoyed the simple and meaningful moments of life. He was a devoted sports enthusiast, proudly supporting his beloved Atlanta sports teams and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He found joy and relaxation on the golf course, enjoyed playing the game he loved, and most importantly, treasured the time spent surrounded by family and friends.

Those who knew him will remember him as a man of character, wisdom, loyalty, and warmth. His presence brought encouragement and fellowship to many, and his memories will forever remain a source of comfort and strength to those blessed to have known him.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well lived, a life of service, achievement, friendship, and love. Though he has departed this earthly journey, his legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.

“Well done, good and faithful servant…” — Matthew 25:23

The Harrington Staff extends our deepest prayers, love, and heartfelt sympathy to the Battle Family during this time of bereavement. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength surround each of you in the days ahead.

Rest peacefully, Reggie. Your service is complete, your assignment fulfilled, and your reward awaits.
