PTSD is real.
So are the nightmares, hypervigilance, anger, guilt, and isolation that can come after years of answering calls most people never have to witness.
Listen to me when I say that PTSD is something you experience…not who you are.
Don’t let your worst call become your identity. Don’t let the uniform you wear become the prison you live in.
You are not a victim of what you’ve seen.
You are a warrior who deserves healing.
Healing doesn’t mean pretending it never happened.
It means refusing to let trauma have the final word.
It means asking for help, leaning on those who have walked the same road, and continuing the fight…one step and one day at a time.
THE STREETS DON’T GET THE LAST WORD.
YOU WERE BUILT FOR THE FIGHT, NOT THE SURRENDER.
Reach out; we are here for you.
