With more than two decades of experience as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Gee recently dedicated his time to leading a hands-on suture clinic for Mercer University medical students preparing to begin their clinical rotations.

During the workshop, students practiced essential suturing techniques, learned sterile operating room procedures, and gained invaluable insight from Dr. Gee and Wendy Boatman. By sharing their knowledge and experience, Dr. Gee and Wendy Boatman are helping shape confident, skilled physicians while strengthening the future of healthcare.

VOA is proud to partner with Mercer University School of Medicine students at SGMC, and a special thanks to Thompson Farms for helping educate tomorrow's physicians right here in South Georgia.
