Playful Food Exploration Group ⭐️

Food doesn’t start with eating, it starts with play. In this workshop led by occupational therapy, children explored food using a variety of feeding utensils and cutters to support curiosity, confidence, and positive mealtime interactions around food. This month pumpkins have been our perfect tool during our social language group program. 🍂

💪🏼 We’ve rolled and pushed the pumpkins and raced them across the room (building gross motor and coordination)
🎨 We painted the pumpkins as a group (parallel play, sharing tools and completing a project by working together!)
🎃 We carved the pumpkins for sensory exploration and tolerance all while building on our language skills — “Eww”… “Oooh”… ”Wow” 👀
