This week’s outing was Vasquez Rocks, and it turned out to be a wonderful start to the day.

The scenic drive set the tone right away, and once we arrived, the landscape made everything feel even more special. We also had a great soundtrack—oldies music playing in the background added so much fun and good energy. Most of all, the best part was spending time with great company and sharing a relaxing, memorable experience together. ❤️

What a great way to celebrate Labor Day! At Oakmont of Valencia, we also marked National B**r Day by gathering together for a relaxing time with some classic b**r, paired with country and patriotic songs that helped set a warm, celebratory mood. Residents end the day, with a delicious BBQ dinner—sharing good food and great company with everyone. 🇺🇸

What a fantastic way to wrap up August—celebrating Oakmont of Valencia’s Annual Luau Party! Our residents enjoyed lively luau dancers, a traditional weaving station, and a wonderful Hawaiian dinner featuring a whole roasted pig.

What a great way to celebrate! Fans gathered at Oakmont of Valencia for The King of Rock and Roll! Throughout the event, our Elvis impersonator treated everyone to unforgettable hits from across his career, bringing classic energy and timeless music to the room. Even today, Elvis Presley is still widely regarded as one of the greatest performers in musical history. ❤️

Residents at Oakmont of Valencia continue celebrating Wellness Month, and this week many of us are also traveling to the Philippines. What a perfect way to combine both—an interactive cooking class featuring a healthy twist on a Filipino favorite: banana turons!

Our Executive Chef and Activities Team led everyone step by step, from preparing the filling to shaping and assembling these delicious snacks. It was a fun, hands-on experience that brought great energy, meaningful connection, and plenty of tasty results. Everyone loved learning the process and tasting the final treats—truly moments to remember! 💜

We invite everyone to move, smile, and dance to support stress and promote stronger physical and mental health each morning. Every session is designed to help residents feel motivated, connected, and refreshed for the day ahead.

Our residents recently enjoyed a highly engaging activity centered on creativity: making summer sun catchers. ☀️

We designed the experience to encourage imagination and hands-on participation, exploring color, shape, and personal design choices throughout. The result was not only a variety of unique creations, but also a strong sense of accomplishment as everyone shared ideas and finished their sun catchers together. 💜

What a wonderful day at Oakmont! For National Kitten Day, our residents had the chance to meet and pet several beautiful kittens and pairing the fun with a glass of Oakmont Special w**e. 💖

It was great to see residents connecting with friends, enjoying a moment together, and—most importantly—welcoming the idea of new companions. Thanks to everyone who helped make the day so joyful and successful! 🥂

Oakmont of Valencia celebrates 4th of July in a big way. Our day starts with participating in The annual Santa Clarita Parade. An experience that sets the tone for the day. With smiles, joyful moments, and plenty of high energy, the community comes together to enjoy the pride and positivity that the holiday brings.

After the parade, we continue celebrating with a delicious barbecue surrounded by family and friends.
We’re grateful to be part of such memorable moments.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our annual Light of Hope Dinner. We truly appreciate your presence and the care you brought to the evening. It was a beautiful time for connection, mutual support, and meaningful conversation. 💜 🕯
