Meet Lindsay, our newest Nurse Practioner at Valley View Family Medical! She is a great addition with her knowledge and caring attitude. Her normal schedule right now is seeing patients on Fridays.

Lindsay Kirkwood , MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. With a strong clinical background in functional and integrative medicine, Lindsay combines evidence-based practice with a personalized approach to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from university of Texas at Arlington, Lindsay gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in the emergency department and also an integrative medical practice. Motivated to expand clinical expertise and take on a more active role in patient management, Lindsay completed a Master of Science in Nursing at University of Texas at Arlington and became board-certified as a family nurse practitioner.

Lindsay is known for building strong relationships with patients, emphasizing education, prevention, and holistic care. Areas of interest include preventative health, hormone balancing, chronic disease management, autoimmune conditions and complimentary therapies for cancer. Lindsay aims to find root causes of illness to help improve quality of life and decrease disease burden.

Lindsay is dedicated to empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being, fostering a supportive and respectful healthcare environment.

Outside of clinical practice, Lindsay enjoys boating, going to the lake and anything outdoors. She is married with two children.
