With so many families still without power after last night's storms and tornadoes, we're opening our Chesterton location at 851 Indian Boundary Rd to the community today and Sunday from 10:30– 3:00 PM.

If you need a place to cool off, decompress, sit in the air conditioning, or take a shower, our doors are open. No appointment or calls needed.

❤️ Walk-in only (there may be a wait depending on demand)

For those who would like a little extra stress relief, we're also offering the following services for any donation amount this weekend only:

✨ 30-Minute Float Session

Cash or card donations accepted. All donations will help offset payroll costs so we can keep the space open and available to those who need it.

Our community has been through a lot with the storms and tornado activity in the area. Whether you need a shower, a quiet place to sit, or a chance to reset, you're welcome here.

⚠️ Please note that this offer applies only to the back half of the building occupied by Mamabear Massage & Float. The front portion of the building is home to other businesses and salon professionals. We kindly ask all guests to respect those businesses and emter through our doors in the back of building.

Power and wifi back on in Chesterton! We have received multiple calls asking to make sure appointments are still on for today and yes they are! We have a full schedule today aside from a float opening at 5pm available with RJ (message to claim) so I apologize if I don't get back to you right away.

Sometimes being raw is far more valuable then being polished or perfect. The world needs more sisterhood. I hear from mom's in pregnancy massages often, "no one ever told me X Y Z", or no one ever talks about *insert basic female bodily functions that seemed to have just been vaguely grazed over or totally unspoken*. There is a power as old as time that comes from sharing our real lived experiences, the ugly stories, the broken stories, the stories of blooming in mud, and the stories of lifes greatest blessings. I am so grateful for my senior women clients who continue to teach me what life may have in store for me, as much as I value giving real feedback to the teens or new moms when navigating a life not yet lived. 👭

The secret to juggling a multifaceted life? Sitting with myself in 1000lbs of epsom salts, hands down. When you are the most busy, most stressed, and most unsure of what the next step looks like moving forward, that is the most important moments to float.

Suddenly the chaos becomes clear. Suddenly the fear, tension, and anxiety melt away. What really matters bubbles up to the surface. Come out feeling rejuvenated and ready to push through another week of challenges. It is sink or swim these days, and as I always say, I prefer to float. 🧘‍♀️
