Enterhealth Most people who come to us have already tried to get better. Most of the individuals and families we serve have already tried to get better.

Through individualized inpatient and outpatient care, we uncover the underlying causes of addiction, mental health challenges, and relapse to help build a foundation for lasting recovery. At Enterhealth, we believe recovery begins with understanding why someone is struggling in the first place. They may have completed treatment, worked with therapists, attended support groups, or made multiple attempts at recovery but still feel stuck, discouraged, or unsure why the cycle continues. Our team looks deeper to identify the underlying factors contributing to addiction, mental health challenges, and relapse. By examining psychiatric health, physical health, trauma, stress, family dynamics, and other drivers of behavior, we create highly individualized treatment plans designed around the needs of each person. Through inpatient and outpatient care, we help individuals and families find answers, address the root causes of the problem, and build a stronger foundation for lasting recovery. Because when treatment makes sense, healing becomes possible.

Getting better is one thing. Staying well is another.
If you had a heart attack, you wouldn’t return to the same unhealthy lifestyle and expect your heart to stay healthy.
Dr. Urschel explains why addiction is no different. Recovery is something you continue to care for, physically, emotionally and socially.

Addiction is treatable. People can heal.
But recovery is not one-size-fits-all. It begins with understanding the whole person and finding the right care for their needs.
If you or someone you love is struggling, asking for help can be the first step toward a different future.

There are more ways to get better than you may realize. AA can be an incredibly powerful tool in recovery. But for many people, meetings and working the steps aren’t enough on their own.

That’s the hopeful message Dr. Urschel shares here: our brains and bodies have an incredible capacity to heal. And we have many tools available to help that healing happen. Recovery isn’t about relying on just one. It’s about finding the right combination for each person.

Behind every experience with addiction is a person with a story, relationships, and a life that extends far beyond their diagnosis.

Addiction is a complex, treatable medical condition. It does not define someone's worth, their future, or their ability to recover.

At Enterhealth, we believe everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care and the opportunity to build a healthier future.

No matter where you are in your journey, help is here when you're ready.

Sometimes the people carrying the most pain are the ones who have become best at hiding it. They still go to work. They answer the phone. They take care of everyone else. They may even appear to have it all together. That is what makes the loss of RJ Mitte so heartbreaking, and why we need to speak honestly about su***de.

For Enterhealth, this is deeply personal. Our organization was born from one family’s devastating loss of two sons, one to su***de and one to addiction. Their grief became a commitment to help other individuals and families find a different path.

Today, we honor RJ Mitte by reminding anyone who is struggling:
You do not have to look like you’re falling apart to deserve help.
You do not have to wait until things become unbearable.
And you do not have to carry this alone.

If you are in crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911.

The person struggling the most may be the person everyone else thinks has it all together.

We've seen it countless times.

The successful attorney. The business leader. The parent everyone depends on. The person whose social media suggests everything is going great.

Yet behind closed doors, they're suffering. And often so is their family.

This World Mental Health Day, let's challenge the idea that pain is always visible.

And let's remind people that asking for help isn't something to be ashamed of.

It's one of the strongest things a person can do.

Kratom may be sold alongside everyday products, but its availability can create a dangerous misconception: that it’s harmless.

Kratom can affect opioid receptors in the brain, and regular use can lead to dependence, withdrawal, and potentially serious health effects. For some people, stopping may require medical support.

Awareness is an important first step. If kratom has become difficult to stop for you or someone you care about, Enterhealth is here 24/7.

🚨VIRAL VIDEO: DOCTOR RESPONDS TO YOUR COMMENTS 🚨

We’ve seen a lot of questions in the comments about what happens to the brain after someone stops using alcohol or drugs. So, we’re answering them.

Brain healing takes time. While significant recovery can happen within the first year to year and a half, the brain may continue to improve for years with continued sobriety and the right support.

What questions do you have about addiction, recovery, or brain health? Drop them in the comments below.

Healing doesn’t always sound like a conversation.

Sometimes, it sounds like birds in the trees, footsteps along a quiet path or the simple stillness of being somewhere removed from the noise of everyday life.

At the Ranch, the environment is an important part of the experience. It gives patients the space to slow down, reconnect with themselves and focus on the work of recovery.

Turn your sound on and experience a moment at the Ranch. 🌿
