The last 3 weeks willow pines has been waiting anxiously for 8 baby chick to be born and last Thursday we welcomed them. Thank you to the Darn Silkie Barn and our very own dining room supervisor, Cat Collins for providing us with Silkie Chickens. Over the weekend residents got to enjoy seeing and holding them. This week they will be going back to the farm.

Today, we remember and honor our vets here at Willow Pines. Michigan Honor Guard 32 joined us with the folding of the American flag & Taps on our front porch. Our vets and family members were given a wonderful lunch with music by Lilly Bowen.

This Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
