Join us this Saturday, June 6, from 9 AM-3 PM for Disability Day! Admission is free for individuals with developmental, intellectual, or emotional disabilities and their caregivers. We are open an hour early for a sensory-friendly, quiet environment. The general public is welcome at regular admission starting at 10 AM.

Enjoy a visit designed for comfort and accessibility: lower sound, brighter spaces, tactile demos, sensory rooms, and extra support staff on hand.

A special thank you to the Ohio Department of Health for helping make these free swim lessons possible for our community.

Classes will run from June 2nd - June 18th every Tuesday & Thursday.

1-2 year olds Class FULL

These classes are open to at-risk youth and adults throughout Van Wert County who would like to improve their swimming skills and water safety knowledge. Participants will learn essential water safety techniques while building confidence in and around the water.

The program also encourages healthy activity, promotes personal responsibility and awareness, and helps prepare individuals to respond more safely in emergency situations. These lessons are designed to support both children and adults in developing lifelong confidence and safety skills in the water.

Join us at Rhodes State College on Tuesday, June 9, for MY LIFE MY STORY — The Next Chapter, a free, full-day storytelling training workshop for Ohioans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their allies. Not only will you learn how to tell your own story, but you’ll also be able to teach others how to share theirs!
