🛑 Scouts Need Your Help – Scouting for Food 2026 🥫

The Old Sycamore District of the Black Swamp Area Council (Scouts of America – Van Wert County) is participating in the annual Scouting for Food service project to support the Cooperative Ministries Food Pantry.

Our local Cub and Boy Scouts are collecting food to help individuals and families in our community who are going through difficult times. This is one way they live out the Scout promise to help other people at all times.

📅 Here’s how it works:
• Scouts will place door flyers during the weekend of March 7th
• They will return March 14th to collect donations
• Please place your donation bags on your front porch or steps by 9:00 AM on March 14th

🥣 Most Needed Items:
• Canned soups, vegetables, and meats
• Cereal, oatmeal, noodles, macaroni
• Pasta sauce
• Crackers & baking items
• Jars of baby food
• Non-perishables like dish soap, paper towels, and shampoo

If we miss you, donations can be dropped off at:

113 West Central Ave., Van Wert
