🇭🇳 **Honduras Mission Trip Update**

As Jade reaches the halfway point of his mission trip, he shared this update with us:

"I'm on the home-to-home team, where we provide medications and share the Gospel in people's homes. It's amazing what can happen when people come together as one body with one mission. Every time I come here, I learn something new, and I look forward to sharing my experiences when I get home. If you see me practicing my Spanish on patients when I return, you'll know why! I'm absolutely exhausted, but it's been worth every minute, and I'm already ready for next year."

We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside others who share the same mission. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for Jade and the entire team. As they continue through the remainder of the trip, please pray for renewed strength, good health, wisdom, meaningful opportunities to serve and share the Gospel, and for God's protection over the entire team. We also ask for prayers for safe travels as they make their journey home in the coming days.

Thank you for following along with this journey. We look forward to welcoming Jade home and sharing more about all that God has done in Honduras.

Another graduation worth celebrating! 🎉

This patient came to us after dealing with neck and shoulder pain for quite some time. From day one, he was an absolute pleasure to work with... always smiling, always kind, and always bringing a positive attitude into the clinic.

And if you know him, you know he is constantly serving others. Whether helping around the campgrounds, keeping things looking nice, or lending a hand during events, he is always working hard for the people around him. Even during his rehab process, we saw him lifting heavy picnic tables and helping others despite still dealing with pain.

Through consistency, hard work, and a willingness to keep moving forward, he made significant progress and reached 0/10 pain. Even after a mild setback, he stayed committed and finished physical therapy with resolution of his neck and shoulder symptoms.

We are proud of his dedication and thankful for the opportunity to be part of his journey. He can now continue serving his community with less pain, less difficulty, and more confidence.

Wishing him continued success! 👏

Did you know that Jones Physical Therapy offers services for both adults and children?

While many people know us for helping adults recover from injuries, surgery, pain, and balance problems, our JPT Kids team specializes in helping children develop the strength, coordination, balance, and motor skills they need to thrive.

We're proud to serve patients across the lifespan and help our community move better together. Check out this post to learn more about what pediatric physical therapy is and how it can make a difference in a child's life.

When this patient first came to physical therapy, she was understandably skeptical.

She had been through physical therapy before and felt like it hadn’t helped much. She was dealing with persistent low back pain, SI joint pain, and symptoms that traveled down her legs. These issues had been affecting her daily life for quite some time and had made many of the things she enjoyed more difficult than they should have been.

From day one, our goal wasn’t just to temporarily reduce her pain—it was to find the underlying factors contributing to her symptoms and develop a plan that was tailored specifically to her needs.

Over the next few months, she stayed committed to the process. Together, we adjusted her program as she progressed, building a home exercise routine that fit her lifestyle and gave her the tools she needed to continue improving on her own.

Today, she is graduating from physical therapy with significantly less pain, fewer symptoms into her legs, and more confidence in her ability to manage her condition. Most importantly, she’s been able to get back to doing more of the things she enjoys without her back constantly holding her back.

One of the things she shared at discharge meant a lot to us: she told us this was the longest she had ever stuck with physical therapy and the first time she didn’t give up early because she could see and feel the progress she was making.

We’re proud of the hard work she put in and excited to see her continue succeeding long after graduation.

Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished! 👏

It's that time of year again!

Our founder, Jade Jones, will be leaving tonight to travel to Honduras on a medical mission trip. Last year, the experience left a lasting impact on him, and he is grateful for the opportunity to serve again.

As he prepares for this journey, we would appreciate your prayers for safe travels, good health, wisdom, and the ability to make a positive difference for those he will meet and serve. We also ask for prayers for the entire team as they work to provide care and support to communities in need.

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer. We are excited to see how God works through this opportunity and look forward to sharing updates along the way.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Colossians 3:23

P.S. JPT will remain open and operating as usual while Jade is away next week. Sean, Jenna, and our PRN PTA, Karen, will be here caring for patients and keeping things running smoothly. We are grateful for such a dedicated team!

🎉 Stronger after a hip replacement, and feeling lighter than she has in a long time. 😊

She came to us after a hip replacement, still weak and not quite herself. Her home health physical therapist sent her our way, and to this day she thanks that therapist every time she sees her. In her words, she’s never been happier she made the call.

When you’re here, we look at the whole person, not just the complaint in front of us. With her, there was more going on than weakness. Her right leg was still holding swelling from surgery, and it was throwing off symptoms that felt like nerve pain. She’d assumed it was just part of recovery and learned to live with it. It wasn’t.

We put her in our Normatec compression boots, and it made all the difference. Her progress sped up, her pain dropped, and the relief on her face the next visit said everything. That moment is exactly why we do this.

And what a lovely woman. A kind heart and a smile that fills the room. She was never just another number to us, never just another hip replacement on the schedule. Every person who walks through our doors is specific, and when you take the time to truly look, you can meet them right where they are. That is the JPT standard.

If you’re recovering from surgery and something still doesn’t feel right, give us a call. We’ll take the time to look closer. You might be surprised what we find.

So glad we got to be part of her story. 🎉

đŸ’Ș From bracing for the next flare-up to closing the door on it for good. 🎉

She found us through a friend’s recommendation and from seeing us on social media after hearing good things. For years she’d been carrying hip pain. Some days she was completely pain free. Other days it sat low and nagging. But the trend kept climbing, worse and worse as the years went on, until the flare-ups would knock her flat and linger. When her most recent flare lasted far longer than usual, she decided enough was enough and reached out, just to have a conversation about whether PT could actually help.

Once we dug in, the picture got clear fast. One hip was weak, the other was tight, and that imbalance was overloading the joint where her spine meets her pelvis (the SI joint). That was the real driver behind the pain. We built a plan to rebalance the two sides, and she responded quickly.

Here’s what stood out about her: she owns her own business, and anyone who’s built something knows that engine never really shuts off. She’s relentlessly busy. At one point even keeping her appointments got tough, partly because she was already feeling good and partly because an entrepreneur’s life just doesn’t slow down. That’s exactly the moment a lot of people drift away. She didn’t. She stayed dedicated, trusted the process, and saw it all the way through to get the most out of her care.

Physical therapy moves through three phases: calming the pain and inflammation, correcting what caused it, and maintenance, the one that matters most. She made it all the way through. Now a flare-up doesn’t get to hijack her calendar for weeks at a time. She gets to keep running at full speed, on her terms.

That’s the difference here. We teach you to fish, we don’t fish for you. The goal was never to make her feel good for a visit. It was to hand her the tools to take care of herself for the long haul. That’s where the real longevity lives, not in chasing symptoms.

If you’re dealing with hip or low back pain and you’re not even sure PT is the answer, just call. We’ll have a real conversation and do a quick screen to figure out together whether we’re a good fit. No pressure.

So proud of this one. Another success at JPT. 🎉
