Our founder & CEO Jason Kidushim was featured in Business Insider sharing the deeply personal story behind Legacy Concierge. His grandfather Joseph, a decorated WWII hero, made one ask when Alzheimer's came: don't put me in a facility. Jason's family kept that promise, but it came at a cost. What he witnessed inspired him to build something that makes home care less overwhelming for families navigating it alone.

Families deserve more than coverage.

They deserve confidence in the caregiver at the door, the nurse behind the plan, and the agency holding both accountable.

That level of care exists — and it has a name. Legacy Concierge.

When it comes to care at home, the level of support chosen can make all the difference.

Caregivers help with personal care, meal preparation, mobility, companionship, and household support. Their role is to keep daily life safe, comfortable, and supported.

Registered Nurses provide medication management, symptom monitoring, clinical assessments, pain and condition management, and communication with physicians. Their role is to manage health, not just assist with it.

The key difference: caregiving is non-medical support. Nursing is clinical decision-making. One supports daily life. The other protects medical stability.

Without clinical oversight, small changes can become emergencies. You may need nursing if there are multiple diagnoses, frequent medication changes, a recent hospitalization, noticeable health decline, or advanced medical equipment at home.

At Legacy Concierge, we provide both — ensuring the right level of care at the right time. Because when needs become complex, clinical oversight makes the difference.

Not sure which level of care is right? Schedule a complimentary consultation and we'll guide you through the next steps.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — a moment to pause, reflect, and recommit to treating mental health with the same urgency and care as physical health.

Mental health is more common than most people realize.1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year. 1 in 6 youth experience a mental health disorder annually. And yet, it remains one of the most under addressed areas of overall health.

It doesn't look just one way. It shows up as anxiety, depression, grief, and addiction. It shows up as burnout, emotional fatigue, and disordered eating. It shows up quietly, and it shows up loudly, and all of it is valid.

Stress. Burnout. Emotional fatigue. These are not side effects of a busy life. They are part of overall health, and they deserve to be treated that way.

When mental health goes overlooked, the impact reaches far beyond the individual. It affects how we think, how we feel, and how we care for the people around us, especially for caregivers and patients who are already carrying so much.

You don't have to navigate this alone. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available.

What happens when clinical oversight is missing at home?

Hospital readmissions within 30 days are often preventable, yet they continue to happen every day. One of the biggest reasons is the gap in monitoring and support after discharge.

Families and caregivers may notice that something feels off, but without clinical training, they’re often left unsure of how to evaluate symptoms or when to escalate care.

That’s where proactive clinical oversight changes outcomes.

Our RN Ambassador model provides real-time monitoring, communication, and care coordination to help patients navigate complex conditions safely at home and reduce avoidable setbacks before they become emergencies.

These statistics are more than just numbers. They reflect real people, real families, and the growing need for compassionate, skilled care at home.

As more individuals navigate aging, illness, and recovery, the demand for quality in home support continues to rise. Everyone deserves care that helps them feel safe, respected, comfortable, and supported in the place they call home.

Because care is never just about numbers, it’s about the lives and families behind them.
