Happy Early Father's Day from Legacy Concierge! Here is a message from our CEO, Jason Kidushim.

"People keep asking me a version of the same question. How has being a father changed the way you lead?

My daughter is almost 3. Legacy is almost 5. They’ve grown up side by side, and raising one taught me how to do the other. Here’s what I’ve learned.

A child doesn’t grow on a roadmap. Some weeks nothing. Then overnight, a new word, a new feeling, a new way of seeing the world. Building a company is the same. You hold the space. You stay steady. You show up every day, especially on the days the progress is invisible.

Then the growth arrives in a way you never could have planned, and all you can do is be grateful you were there for it. She trusts before she understands. She tries, falls, and reaches for the people around her. She believes they’ll be there. And we are.

That’s what showing up means. It’s not the grand moments. It’s being there, again and again, for the people who depend on you, whether or not anyone’s watching.

That’s the culture I want at Legacy. People who hold each other up. People who lead with care before they lead with answers. I started this company almost 5 years ago, after walking through caregiving with my own family. I know how tender those moments are. I build it now for her generation, and for every family trusting us with someone they love.

The job is the same in both places. Be present. Be gentle. Stay steady. Earn the trust. Let the growth come.

Cancer survivorship looks different than most people think. Life shifts in ways that are hard to explain. Relationships, work, identity, all of it changes. There's grief for the life that existed before, even alongside gratitude for still being here. The body carries the weight long after treatment ends, and the mind quietly struggles in ways that rarely get talked about.

And still, survivors keep going. Not because it's easy. Because that is what survivors do.
