“Dealing with a hearing loss can be quite a challenge but Nelson Audiology’s team has made it an easy and very manageable experience for me. The support staff have been courteous, welcoming, professionally competent and very attentive to all aspects of my case, from the finer details of billing and insurance coverage to the broader issues regarding scheduling and follow-up matters. The audiologist has been equally impressive. He was calm, unrushed and very thorough and efficient in conducting his tests, taking time to explain everything as we proceeded through the exams; answering all of my questions and presenting his findings fully and clearly. He laid out my options in a very objective and understandable manner, making my decision a lot easier. . . When the hearing aids that I selected arrived, the audiologist was again very thorough and clear in explaining all aspects of the equipment’s functions and very patient in ensuring that I fully understood my options and responsibilities as a new hearing-aid recipient. Thanks to the Nelson Audiology team, I am currently comfortably in the process of familiarizing myself with the ‘feel’ of my new hearing aids and adapting happily to the thrilling world of “sound” that they are reopening for me!”
