💚 We’re stepping up for Cerebral Palsy this STEPtember! 👟
Did you know that children with cerebral palsy are about 5 times more likely to also have autism than children without cerebral palsy? In a large U.S. study, approximately 6% of children with cerebral palsy also had an autism diagnosis.
At Embrace ABA, autism is at the heart of what we do every day. This September, we’re expanding that support by participating in STEPtember, a movement that raises funds for cerebral palsy research, innovation, and support.
Throughout September, the Embrace ABA team will be getting up and moving, tracking our steps and activities, and adding in a little friendly competition along the way! 👟🏃‍♀️💪
Every step is an opportunity to raise awareness, support research, and make a difference for children and families.
We’re excited to see how far Team Embrace can go together! 💚

Owning an ABA clinic means we clean up a lot of messes. Toys get scattered, craft projects take over tables, and the occasional chaos comes with helping children learn and grow. But my favorite mess to clean up will always be the confetti after a client graduates from services. 🎉
That confetti represents so much more than a celebration. It represents the dedication of the BCBA who guided the treatment plan, the RBTs who put in the daily work and built meaningful relationships, the parents and family members who practiced skills and supported progress at home, and every person who believed in that client's potential.
But most importantly, it represents the hardest worker of all... the client. ❤️
Every milestone achieved, every skill mastered, and every goal reached happened because that client showed up, worked hard, and kept moving forward.
So while we'll gladly sweep up the confetti, we'll never take for granted what it represents: teamwork, perseverance, growth, and success.
Here's to every graduate, every family, every BCBA, every RBT, and every piece of confetti that tells a story of an amazing journey. 🎊✨
