Midwife Sarah & Student Midwife Amarachi enjoyed teaching students about pregnancy, birth, & the many ways families can welcome their babies into the world. From listening to heartbeats with a Doppler to exploring baby growth, the placenta, and the pelvis, it was a day full of learning and curiosity! 🐣📚🩷

Thank you mamas, for the sacrifice, the sleepless nights, the prayers over your daughters, the teachings, the pouring from an empty cup, the resilience raising some of these fierce women. It wasn’t always easy. You did well. Your daughters now pour so much love, wisdom, strength, & compassion into the families they serve. The way your daughters care for laboring mothers, protect birth spaces, teach, nurture, & serve others says so much about the women who raised them. Pieces of you are carried into every birth, in their gentleness, resilience, patience, & hearts for serving others. Whether near or far, still with us or deeply missed, the influence of your motherhood has shaped this team in countless ways. Thank you mamas.
