To raise awareness during Melanoma Awareness Month, the Chicago Dermatological Society participated in the Chicago Spring Half Marathon finish-line reception by hosting its inaugural Skin Cancer Screening Tent. Volunteer dermatologists provided skin cancer screenings for race participants and spectators while promoting awareness of melanoma and other forms of skin cancer.
