This past Sunday, Connecticut East Dental Center and our families spent the afternoon at Dunkin' Donuts Park rooting for the Hartford Yard Goats! We had a wonderful day together, even if the Yard Goats weren't able to pull out a win.

Have you been to a Yard Goats game? If you haven't, you should definitely get in a game this season. We all had a great time!

Connecticut East Dental Center is made up of a dedicated team with the shared goal of keeping your smile sparkling and healthy! Join us every Monday to meet the team behind your smile!

This week we are spotlighting Zak, our wonderful Front Desk Assistant who works in our Vernon office! Zak joined the team in an official capacity this past fall, though as Dr. Khan’s and Practice Manager, Barbara’s, son he has been a part of the CT East Dental Center family his whole life! When he isn’t behind the front desk, you can find Zak at his favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, or watching the Mets with his dog, Charlie.

Next time you’re in for a check up, be sure to say hello and wish Zak good luck as he heads to college this month!

The Connecticut East Dental Center team had a blast today at the Hartford Yard Goats! Our friends and family all coming together to watch a game was the best way to end the weekend. Even though the Yard Goats didn’t secure the win, we sure secured a good time!

This Sunday, our Connecticut East Dental Center team is trading in our scrubs for baseball caps as we head to the Hartford Yard Goats for our summer celebration!

We work hard together, so we’re excited for an excuse to step away from the office, enjoy some good food, spend time together, and of course cheer on the Yard Goats!

Connecticut East Dental Center is made up of a dedicated team with the shared goal of keeping your smile sparkling and healthy! Join us every Monday to meet the team behind your smile!

This week we are spotlighting Corinne, our wonderful Operations and Billing Manager who works in our Vernon and Willimantic offices! Corinne has been with us for 8 years, beginning as a Dental Assistant and transitioning into a management position. Corinne loves building lasting relationships with patients and seeing the joy on their faces after getting their teeth fixed or getting dentures for the first time. Her biggest piece of advice for your smile is, “You know your teeth and your mouth. If something feels off, call. It doesn't hurt to text us or reach out to us to see if it's worth coming in. Definitely keep up on your 6 month cleanings!” Corinne keeps busy outside of the office with her soon-to-be 14 year old daughter, 3 cats, and dog.

Next time you’re in, ask Corinne about her band geek days! She was first chair in high school playing piccolo and flute!

This week we are spotlighting Rafa, our incredible Lead Dental Assistant who works in our Vernon and Willimantic offices! Rafa first joined the team 12 years ago, and has been beloved by patients ever since! Rafa loves that Connecticut East Dental Center gives him the opportunity to be a part of such a diverse team. The best part of his job is when he is the reason patients leave with a smile on their face. His advice for a healthy smile is, “Rinse your mouth with warm water after each meal”. When he isn’t assisting at CT East, you can find Rafa dancing or enjoying good Spanish food. He loves visiting Disney, especially Animal Kingdom.

Rafa is a big Knicks fan, so next time you’re in you can celebrate their historic win together!
