Our mood is often defined by how we define ourselves. How we express ourselves is heavily influenced by the frame of reference that we choose to have. If I focus on my weight, that becomes my identity, past failed relationships, or things I have set out to do and have yet to do.
What If my frame of reference is something different? For instance, what about this moment and these emotions? I let them settle and emerge into today, now. I then explore other things that have also been a part of my life. See how the emotions change?
It is essential to do this without judgment and a sense of detachment.
Afterward, we can judge. Then we can decide what we like best. Who knows, maybe change our frame of reference.
