We honor Dr. Huang’s retirement after over two decades of outstanding service. Dr. Huang began her career in Chicago before joining Vernon Pediatrics 21 years ago, and from the onset, she became a constant, empathetic presence for our patients, families, and colleagues. Her unwavering stability guided our practice through difficult moments, including the uncertainty of the Covid pandemic. Throughout her career, she cultivated specialist interests in head injury and acne care, providing judicious, evidence-based treatment that reflected her dedication to clinical excellence. Dr. Huang established enduring relationships with numerous families, fostering trust through genuine listening and authentic care. Her commitment to quality medicine and her support for our team have shaped the culture of Vernon Pediatrics in ways that will persist long after her retirement. Our office had such a wonderful time showering Dr. Washburn with love, laughter, and well wishes as she prepares to welcome her little one. We are so excited for this next chapter and couldn’t be happier for her and her growing family.

Dr Carrie Kluger will be joining Vernon Pediatrics temporarily in July, as a locum physician. She will be helping us maintain our high standard of care and access while we support members of our team with maternity leaves and retirement. Dr Kluger is a Board Certified pediatrician with many years of primary care experience and enjoys doing mental health work. She enjoys traveling and works with patients in the field of mental and behavioral health management.

We welcome her expertise and appreciate her help this summer!

We are announcing the retirement of Dr Judy Huang this summer. She has been with Vernon Pediatrics for 21 years and we will miss her dearly. Her dedication and calm support have been a mainstay in our office. We wish her all the best in her well deserved retirement! If you have an appointment with Dr Huang after 7/2/26 we will be calling to reschedule.
