This weekend while at Sussex County Day, I was asked, "So what is Synergy Counseling? Some sort of energy healing?"

Sort of. Kind of.

You see, Synergy Counseling is healing:
- for the fear of an 8 year old who's bullied for words they said.
- for the anger a 10 year old feels after losing two beloved members of their family in a small amount of time.
- for the 15 year old who's insecure in their worth because of who they're attracted to.
- for the 29 year old who feels lost, having just lost their father and their job.
- for the 47 year old having panic attacks trying to support their family
and the body they all inhabit.

Synergy Counseling is built to provide a safe, supportive, and empathetic space for all those facets of a person to coexist together as one whole person, instead of acting in fractured cohabitation, unsure of which part will take the wheel and react to any given situation. It equips you with the tools to bring every part back into harmony and to thrive in a challenging world.

That is what Synergy is.

Sure, the clouds decided to dump a pool on us, but did that stop us? Absolutely not. I'm out here at Sussex County Day hanging out with a whole army of awesome vendors who also refused to let a little water ruin the party.

If you are brave enough to face the drizzle, come find me, grab some resources, or just say hello. I promise I have dry smiles and plenty of positive energy to share. Rain or shine, taking care of your mental well-being never takes a day off.

Put on your favorite questing shoes because we are joining the crusade at Changing the Face of Addiction 2026. This fantastic event is happening on August 1st at the Franklin Firemans Pavilion where people stride to support those facing substance use.

Hosted by the incredible team at The Center for Prevention & Counseling, this is your chance to stretch those legs for an amazing cause. And guess what? Their allies here at Synergy Counseling Services will be right there holding down the fort with them from under our tent with our cool teal table.
