BEFORE AND AFTER LEFT UPPER EYELID INTERNAL PTOSIS SURGERY AND UNDER EYE BAG SURGERY LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY 👇👇👇

This beautiful patient traveled from out of town seeking improvement in 2 things.
1. She was really bothered by under eye bags that she felt made her look older than she felt. Make up, lotions, potions, etc weren’t helping. To improve this, she had lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. This was done all from the inside of the lower eyelid with NO SKIN INCISION
2. She was bothered by a droopy left upper eyelid. She was previously diagnosed with Horners syndrome after a complete work up. To lift the left upper eyelid, she had internal ptosis with NO SKIN INCISION

Note the improvement in the transition from the lower eyelid to the cheek and while the lighting is the same in both photos, the dark circles are much improved in the after photo. Also, note that the left upper eyelid is more opened and refreshed after the ptosis surgery. In her case, all of her surgery was done with small internal incisions with NO SKIN INCISION.

She is happy with the natural improvement.

***** EYEBROW/EYELID RECONSTRUCTION AFTER SKIN CANCER SURGERY *****

This patient had a long-standing growth in his eyebrow hairs that he thought was a mole. The lesion was biopsied and found to be a basal cell carcinoma. After skin cancer removal, this patient required reconstruction of his eyebrow and upper eyelid.

Defects involving the and can be challenging for multiple reasons. In terms of function, this particular defect required careful reconstruction to ensure that the upper eyelid could still open and close normally. Cosmetically, it is critical to place incisions at aesthetic borders is important to create a less conspicuous scar.

In this patient, a local flap was developed to conceal the incisions as best as possible, and properly align the brow hairs

He is healing well and happy to be free of skin cancer.

BEFORE AND AFTER UNDER EYE BAG
👁️ 👁️ 🧳 🧳 SURGERY LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY 👇👇👇

📣📣 Public Service Announcement:
If there are true under eye bags (prolapse of orbital fat), then under eye filler is almost NEVER the solution.

Prior filler can result in prolonged swelling and bump or cyst formation. Important to attempt to dissolve it before surgery.

This beautiful patient was bothered by puffy under eyes/ bags that created the appearance of dark circles even after a full night’s rest. She felt great and was still very active, but felt that this was a feature that didn’t match her energy level and was not able to cover it up with any kind of makeup. Attempts at under eye filler were unsuccessful and caused excessive swelling. The under eye filler was dissolved before surgery.

To improve her lower eyelid appearance without hollowing the lid cheek junction, lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning was performed. This was done all from the inside of the lower eyelid. Light laser ⚡️ resurfacing was performed for improvement in lower eyelid skin texture.

Note the improved transition from her eyelid to cheek. The goal of this and any plastic surgery is “better” not “different”. She and I agree this was achieved 😊

Results are shown a few months later and will continue to improve!

She is happy with her results and I am very happy for her!

**** IMPROVING EYELID SYMMETRY WITH UPPER EYELID LIFT **** 👇 👇 👇

This awesome patient was bothered by drooping upper eyelids where the eyelids crossed close to his pupil. This made the patient appear less awake and limited the amount of light into the eyes, impacting his vision.

surgery and were performed to achieve these results shown at 2 months after surgery.

Lower eyelid surgery was NOT performed in this case.
