Snoring in children is often a sign of a narrowed airway, and palate expansion is one of the most effective ways to address it at the root. When the jaw has the space it needs, breathing improves, sleep improves, and kids can finally rest the way they should.

✨ PATIENT SUCCESS STORY ✨

This is why we do what we do. 💛

When we first met this sweet patient, our goal wasn’t simply to straighten teeth. We wanted to create the space and foundation needed for better growth, function, and development.

And what a transformation. 🙌 AND WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WITHOUT ANY BRACES OR ALIGNERS

Swipe ➡️ to see his progress, the changes in his smile and facial development, and most importantly, to hear what they have to say about their experience.

At Foundation First Airway Center, we believe orthodontic treatment should be about more than where the teeth end up. We look at the whole child and ask: "How can we guide growth today to give them the best foundation for tomorrow?"

Watching our patients grow and thrive is the best part of what we do. 🐑💛

Individual results vary. Treatment recommendations are based on each patient’s individual needs.

My children are the reason I got into pediatric jaw development and pediatric sleep disordered breathing treatment. I never would have imagined it would have transformed my career and life into being my specialty.

I am so grateful that I was able to learn this before Eli was born so that I could jump in early and prevent him from having more complex problems later.

I could already tell that Eli's jaws were underdeveloped and he was about to have severe crowding and no room for his first set of Adult teeth. The xrays showed them on top of eachother in the bone and I know its best to make room so the teeth come in straight instead of reacting later once crowding is already severe and his case is more complicated. Moreso, his underdeveloped upper jaw contributed to mouth breathing, interrupted sleep, swollen tonsils, and behavioral issues.

Anything I recommend for my patients children I also recommend and do for my own.

6 yrs old and in Kindergarten, may have seemed too young to start orthodontics but it reality it is the best age.

Let me know if anyone you know may benefit from this type of early, preventative treatment!
