We're celebrating someone who shows up for HarborChase of Sarasota not because it's his job, but because it's his heart.

John Prettyman has been by his wife Robin's side every step of the way since she moved into our community in November 2025. He joins her for dining and physical therapy, attends resident activities regularly, and is a trusted presence on our bus outings. John pitches in wherever he sees a need, and his warmth and devotion lift the entire community.

Randy is a Care Partner at HarborChase of Plano, and residents and families adore him for good reason. He gives big bear hugs and encourages everyone to pass them along. He takes care of the little things that might go unnoticed, and he does it all with genuine love and attentiveness. Families know him by name. Residents light up when he walks in.

Some people are called to care for others from the very beginning. Nubia Del Carmen Jurado Cabrera is one of them.

Growing up in a humble rural family in Colombia, Nubia watched her parents welcome and care for senior neighbors as if they were their own. She carried that same spirit with her when she joined HarborChase of Sarasota in October 2025, and families and associates alike rejoice when she is on shift.

This picture says it all.

Lakeysha Harrison has spent seven years pouring her whole heart into the residents of HarborChase of Branford, and there is not a single person in The Cove who does not feel it. She stays past her shift, comes in on her days off, volunteers to onboard new care partners, and has been known to sit with a passing resident so they are never alone.

On her days off, she stops by to bring birthday cupcakes and balloons just because. Lakeysha leads activities, calls Bingo, helps with crafts, and takes residents outside for fresh air and sunshine. She is calm, compassionate, and endlessly devoted to the people in her care.

This week, we're celebrating a care partner whose attentiveness and dedication make HarborChase of Coral Springs a safer, better place for everyone.

Kim Dandeneau has spent seven years ensuring residents feel comfortable, cared for, and truly seen. She monitors every detail of resident well-being, communicates changes to the nursing team before small concerns become bigger ones, and keeps care supplies organized so the whole team can work efficiently. Kim embodies our value of Stewardship in the most genuine way, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our HarborChase family.
