Did you know Midmark’s story can be traced back to the Panama Canal?

Before founding the company that would become Midmark in 1915, E.C. Cummings worked as a master mechanic during the construction of the Panama Canal. After health challenges brought him back to the U.S., he settled in Minster, Ohio, where he partnered with local business leaders to launch the Cummings Machine Company.

What began with concrete mixers and gasoline engines would eventually become a more than 110-year legacy of innovation, resilience and improving the healthcare experience around the world.

On Aug. 14, Midmark Teammates from Glasgow volunteered with The HIVE Clubhouse in Scottsville, Kentucky, completing facility improvement projects to help support its programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
