As the new school year approaches, it's normal for children, teens, and even parents to experience some anxiety.

While some nervousness is expected during transitions, persistent anxiety can make it difficult to enjoy school, learn, and connect with others.

A new school year brings new opportunities, but it can also bring new challenges. If anxiety is becoming overwhelming for your child, teen, or family, support is available.

At Sojourn Counseling, we have counselors who specialize in supporting your children to navigate life's transitions with confidence and support. 📚✏️📓

Have you ever wondered if you’re just stressed or are you burnt out?

Burnout can affect anyone, but it's especially common among caregivers, healthcare workers, first responders, veterans transitioning to civilian life, and helping professionals.

If you're feeling depleted, it may be time to prioritize your own well-being. Therapy can provide a place to process stress, restore balance, and reconnect with what matters most.

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, but access to care, cultural stigma, systemic barriers, and lived experiences can make seeking support more difficult for many individuals in minority communities.

This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, encourage open conversations, and advocate for equitable access to mental health resources. At Sojourn Counseling, we believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported on their mental health journey.

If you or someone you know is struggling, know that support is available, and reaching out is a sign of strength. 🎗️
