This position provides individual and family therapy, completes required treatment documentation, and provides crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related clinical field
• Must be license-eligible through DMH or another appropriate licensing board
• Must be available to provide crisis intervention during and after working hours
• Must be able to pass a background check

The Prevention Specialist will help develop and implement alcohol and drug prevention programs, provide prevention education to students in grades Pre-K through 12, enter program data, and participate in community outreach activities.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Addiction, or a related field
✔ Must be eligible for Prevention Specialist licensure
✔ Must hold a valid driver’s license
✔ Good computer and basic reporting skills
✔ Must be able to pass a background check
