Caring for someone's mental health doesn't always require knowing exactly what to say. ๐Ÿ’™

Sometimes it looks like listening without judgment, checking in when they've been quiet, or helping them find additional support when they need it.

This Mental Illness Awareness Week, we're reminded that small moments of connection can matter more than we realize.

You don't need to have all the answers. Being present, patient, and willing to listen is a meaningful place to start.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. For emotional support, call or text 988.

Emergency nurses are often the first people patients see on their hardest days. ๐Ÿ’™

This Emergency Nurses Week, we're recognizing the ER nursing teams across KPC Health's Southern California hospitals for the skill, calm, and care they bring to every shift.

To our emergency nurses: thank you for being there when our patients and communities need you most.

You don't have to wait for a sign to take care of your breast health. ๐ŸŽ€

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're encouraging women to stay up to date on their screenings. Mammograms can find breast cancer before a lump can be felt or other symptoms appear, when it's often easier to treat.

Screening recommendations vary based on your age, personal health history, and individual risk. Talk with your healthcare provider about the schedule that's right for you.

Schedule your mammogram, and encourage the women you care about to do the same.

We're grateful when families take the time to tell us what our care meant to them.

Recently, a family shared how much it meant to see their loved one treated with patience, compassion, and dignity during a hospital stay at one of KPC Health's facilities.

To every doctor, nurse, and team member who shows up for our patients and their families, thank you. This is what your work looks like from the other side. ๐Ÿ’™

The kids have their back-to-school checkups scheduled. When was the last time you scheduled yours? ๐Ÿฉบ

It's easy to put off an annual physical when you feel fine. But blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar can shift before you feel anything.

Regular checkups are a chance to understand what's changing, talk through your individual risk factors, and stay current with preventive care.

While you're getting everyone else ready for the season ahead, put your own health on the calendar too. ๐Ÿ’™
