We are proud to announce that, once again our School Nutrition Program will operate under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026-2027 School year!

This means that all enrolled students at Vidalia City Schools will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost throughout the school year. We are excited to continue providing nutritious meals to support the health, wellbeing, and academic success of every student.

We look forward to serving our students and families during another great year!

It takes a special kind of person to invest in training during the off-season. That level of commitment speaks volumes.

Sally D. Meadows Elementary School Manager Betsy Medina and J.R. Trippe Middle School Manager Lisa Turner recently completed an intensive two-day training with Culinary Chef Michael DuBose, assisted by Corporate Chef Bruce Marlette, provided by the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division's Summer Culinary Training at Richmond Hill High School.

The hands-on training provided participants with valuable culinary techniques, opportunities to sample new recipes and products, and practical ideas to enhance meal preparation for the students and elevate overall kitchen operations.

Their dedication to continuous learning and growth will help strengthen our team and the experience we deliver every day. Great work!
