Dyslexia doesn’t stop at reading and spelling. It can also affect executive function, confidence, and how a child experiences school.

That’s why we’re bringing four perspectives together for our next Navigating Dyslexia Together event.

On September 16, a dyslexia advocate, speech-language pathologist, executive function coach, and psychologist will each share five things they wish every parent of a child with dyslexia knew.

✨ 4 experts. 20 practical takeaways. One conversation + live Q&A to help you see the bigger picture.

🎥 Can’t attend live? Register anyway, and we’ll send you the recording.

One task. Two wins. Welcome to While You’re At It! 💙

This new series is all about turning everyday tasks into opportunities to build speech, language, literacy, and executive function skills without adding another activity to your plate.

First up: Before making next week’s grocery list, let your child use the school lunch menu to decide which days they’ll buy or pack. You’ll get the week planned, and they’ll get meaningful reading practice along the way.

Follow for a new double-duty idea every Thursday!

Summer group snapshots! ☀️💙

A little learning, a lot of fun, and plenty of smiles along the way. We love getting to watch our students learn together, try new things, and enjoy being part of a group.

Just a few moments from summer at RLLC! 😊

One last summer adventure = a little back-to-school practice in disguise. ☀️🎒

The next time you’re packing for the pool, park, beach, or a day out, put your child in charge of the bag! They’ll practice planning ahead, organizing what they need, and checking their work without realizing they’re also practicing how to pack their own backpack for school.

Sneaky, right? 😉

What if your kids planned the next family adventure? ☀️

If you’ve spent all summer coming up with activities, it’s time to pass the torch.

This week’s Summer Learning in Disguise challenges your child to become your family’s official Adventure Planner. Whether they choose a trip to the library, a picnic at the park, an ice cream outing, or a bike ride, they’ll get to think through the details and help plan one last summer adventure.

The best part? They’ll be practicing planning, organization, problem-solving, and flexible thinking without even realizing it.

💡 Extra challenge: If you have multiple Adventure Planners at home, let everyone pitch their idea, then vote on one adventure to do before summer ends!

What’s the first place you think your child would choose? Let us know in the comments! 👇
