Jane Roz Hebert

In Loving Memory of Jane Roz Hebert February 20, 1986 – July 20, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Roz Hebert, who departed this life on July 20, 2026, at the age of 40.

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Jane made her home in Pine Prairie, where she built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. She embraced every opportunity to make memories with those she loved most. Whether she was setting out on a road trip, shopping for something special, creating beautiful crafts, or celebrating the holidays, Jane found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a contagious laugh, a sassy personality, and a strong spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Jane adored babies and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her greatest pride and joy were her children, whom she loved with all her heart. She was fiercely independent, never afraid to speak her mind, and she truly did it her way. Her determination carried her through life's many challenges, and she battled her illness with remarkable courage, strength, and grace until the very end.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved sons, Julian Godeaux, Westly Godeaux, Everett Godeaux, and Ambrose Godeaux; her cherished daughters, Nova Lee and Neveah Lee; her loving parents, Carl and Leila Soileau Hebert; her brothers, Corey Hebert and Ryan Hebert; her niece, Briana Hebert; her great-nephew, Kaysen Hudson; her grandmothers, Maudry Soileau and Tina Soileau; and her aunt and uncle, Rowena Soileau and Al Soileau, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Oscar Soileau Jr. and Calvin Soileau.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday July 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte, with a Rosary to be prayed by Deacon Ben Soileau at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday July 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday July 25, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Father Cole Zaunbrecher will conduct the Mass.

Jane will be laid to rest at Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the countless memories Jane gave us. She lived life with love, laughter, determination, and on her own terms. She did it her way, and that is exactly how those who loved her will always remember her. Her adventurous spirit, fierce love for her family, and beautiful smile will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Don "JR" Coe

Don “JR” Coe, born April 7, 1956, in Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Ville Platte. He was 70 years old and leaves behind a rich legacy of kindness, dedication, and cherished memories.

Don’s journey through life was marked by service, love for family, and a tireless work ethic. Early in life, he pursued his education with distinction, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Baldwin University and an industrial technical degree from Hocking Technical College. This strong academic foundation guided his career as a Market Manager in the gas industry.

A proud veteran, Don served four years in the Air Force. His time in service reflected his sense of duty and steadfast character, shaping his outlook and values.

Family was always at the center of Don’s world. He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Kelly Vidrine Coe, who stood by his side through all of life’s seasons. Don was the father of Jack Coe and Reese Coe. His memory will also be cherished by his brother, Richard Coe, and his sister, Penny Savage.

Don’s circle of love extended to those who have gone before him. He was preceded in death by his sister Billie Gumph, his father Don Eugene Coe Sr., and his mother Judith Elenor Sparks Coe Brown. Their spirits remain a guiding presence for his family.

Beyond his professional and familial commitments, Don embraced life with a joyful spirit. He loved to play the piano, filling his home with music. Fishing was another of his favorite pastimes, a chance to enjoy the peace of nature. Whether enjoying quiet moments with his wife and their pets or sharing stories with friends, Don found happiness in the simple joys of everyday life.

Though Don “JR” Coe’s time with us has concluded, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the values he embodied. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, gentle humor, and the enduring love he gave to his family and friends.
