It’s always bittersweet to see someone move on to a new chapter, but we couldn’t be more excited to watch our former COO, Jess, step into her new position.
We’re so proud of all she accomplished during her time with Flourish and grateful for the impact she made on our team and our patients. We’re cheering her on as she begins this exciting new venture!
Help us welcome Jessica (Jess) Wood to our Southwest Indiana SBDC Team! Jess serves as our Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Navigator, primarily working in Knox, Gibson and Pike counties, while also helping remotely support the remaining counties in our Southwest Indiana footprint.
Jess brings more than 20 years of experience across small business, healthcare, finance, retail, and business operations. Her career has included leading day-to-day operations for small businesses, managing and developing employees, improving processes and systems, enhancing the client experience, developing community partnerships, and helping organizations navigate growth and change. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Flourish Integrative Health, where she focused on strengthening operations, developing teams, improving workflows, and creating a better experience for both patients and employees.
Jess is a graduate of the Knox County Leadership Program through Purdue Extension. Her areas of expertise include business operations, process improvement, employee management and development, client experience, organizational development, relationship building, and connecting entrepreneurs with community resources.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her two children, hiking, exploring local businesses and restaurants, and finding new ways to get involved in her community. She is passionate about seeing small towns thrive and believes strong local businesses play an important role in creating communities where people want to live, work, and raise their families.
She will be scheduling clients soon out of her home office at The Pantheon!
