🎰✨ Wow! What a fun afternoon we had! ✨🎰

UnityPoint Hospice provided today’s afternoon activity, and they brought along “Care-sino,” the Human Slot Machine! 🎰😂

A couple of our residents even took a turn at being the “machine” themselves! There were plenty of laughs, smiles, and good-natured fun shared by our residents and staff. ❤️

A BIG thank-you to UnityPoint Hospice for bringing so much fun and laughter to our afternoon! We had a jackpot of a time! 🎰💰😄

VPRD Cardboard Boat Regatta Champions!🏆🚣‍♂️
We came, we saw, we didn't sink! Congratulations to our incredible team for taking home 1st place at this year's Cardboard Boat Regatta! Armed with nothing but cardboard, duct tape, questionable naval engineering skills, and sheer determination, our crew crafted the ultimate vessel- and somehow kept it floating all the way across the finish line....for TWO races! A huge shoutout to our ultimate paddling duo, Tommy and Wes, for bringing the speed! Thank you to our skipper, Robin, for helping design, build, and bring our makeshift boat to life, as well as all our loyal fans who cheered us on from the splash zone!

Fresh, homemade pizza made entirely by our amazing assisted living residents! They loved getting the chance to roll up their sleeves, get creative with their favorite toppings, and put together some delicious pizzas to enjoy. ​We had everything from classic pepperoni to all-the-veggies masterpieces.

School is back in session, and so is one of our favorite traditions! 📚

Our residents spent time last week creating some delicious treats to celebrate our 4th grade buddies heading back to school. We are so excited to kicked off another year of fun, friendship, and intergenerational connections!

Wishing our young buddies the absolute best start to their school year—we can’t wait for our first visit together soon! ✏️❤️
