We've officially ended our relationship with Biofreeze and are now carrying Stopain in it's place.
Biofreeze purchased in stores has 3% Menthol (ie, the Active Ingredient).
Biofreeze Professional which we carried for years has 5% Menthol.
Stopain found in stores has 8% Menthol.
Stopain Clinical which we now carry has 10% Menthol!
Biofreeze had been raising their prices pretty steadily for the past 5 years. Our prices were:
Biofreeze Professional Tube (4 oz) $14
Biofreeze Professional Roll-On (3 oz) $15 &
Biofreeze Professional Spray (4 oz) $16.
For Stopain Clinical our prices are as follows:
Stopain Clinical Tube (4 oz) $12
Stopain Clinical Roll-On (3 oz) $12 &
Stopain Clinical Spray (4 oz) $12.
Stopain also contains Glucosamine Sulphate and MSM, whereas Biofreeze doesn't.
Biofreeze used to be a U.S. company who gave back to the Chiropractic profession in big ways. Biofreeze has since been purchased by a large British company and they no longer give anything to the Chiropractic profession or the Chiropractic Colleges.
