Leighta Mullins Roberts, 51 years of age, of Virgie, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born May 12, 1975, in Pikeville to Sheila Newsom Blackburn and the late Ricky Victor Mullins.
Besides her mother she is survived by two sons, Sebastian Taylor of Morehead, Jacob Taylor of Morehead; one daughter Gabbi Mullins of Pikeville; one brother, Ricky Shawn (Kari) Mullins of Pikeville; four aunts, Phyllis (Roy) Bowling, Thelma (Don) Newsome, Jennifer (Timmy) Webb, Trula (Tim) Fields; two nephews, Ian, Liam; and one niece, Sally Mullins.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home with Ricky Wright officiating. Visitation will begin at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday.

Ollie Jean Bartley, 84 years of age, of Caney Highway, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland. She was born to the late Bill and Lila Mullins on September 19, 1941.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vernon “Chirper” Bartley; three sisters, Billie Joyce (Mack) Mullins, Geraldine (Bill) Stewart, Alleen (Zane) Breeding.
She is survived by one son, Gary (Christie) Bartley of Raceland; one grandson, Christopher Michael Bartley of Raceland; and one brother, Ronnie Paul (Judy) Mullins of Dorton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Bill Mullins Cemetery at Elswick Branch with Ronnie Mullins officiating.

Billy Ray Tackett 74 years of age of Caney, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026. He was born on August 17, 1952, to the late Russell and Kathline Roberts Tackett.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Brian Tackett and one brother-in-law, Marvin Kiser.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Robinson Tackett; his son, Brad (Ashley) Tackett of Pikeville; one brother, Roger Lee (Debra) Tackett of Pikeville; one sister, Judy Kiser of Pikeville; three grandchildren, Jacie, Taneisha, Sydney; two great-grandchildren, Haisley, Harden; and a special brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Donna Denison.

Pamela Potter, 64 years of age, of Neon, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at her residence. She was born on March 10, 1962, to the late Robert and Lilly (Sparks) Wilson.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Enos Delph; two sisters, Teresa Bevins and Sharon Stiles.
She is survived by her husband, George Potter; one son, George Michael Potter; one daughter, Tabitha Potter; one brother, Ronnie Delph; one sister, Sandra Whitt; three grandchildren, Kadence Branham, Justyn Potter, Abigale Potter; two great-grandchildren, River Potter and Rhett Potter; and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Christopher B. Cummings Jr, 23 years of age of Marrowbone, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born on November 28, 2002, in Orlando, FL, to Christopher B. Cummings Sr of Florida, and the late Brandi Jo Price. He was a student at University of Pikeville.
Other than his father he is survived by one brother, Anthony Cummings of Marrowbone; one sister, Ashley Mullins of Lexington; his grandmother, Eva Price of Marrowbone and his uncle, Jordan Price of Marrowbone.

Patricia Hammond, 84 years of age of Robinson Creek passed away Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1942, in Macomb, Illinois to the late Ralph Andrews and Dorothy Steele Davis.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hammond; one son, Melvin Hammond; two brothers, James Andrews, Lloyd Thomas Andrews.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Massey of New York, Karen (Johnie) Brake of Robinson Creek, Debbie Torres of Arizona; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

Roger Mullins 34 years of age of Virgie, passed away Saturday, August 15,2026, at the UK Medical Center. He was born on August 21, 1991, to Dorothy (Keith Tackett) Little and the late Boyd Mullins.
Other than his father he was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Tackett Jr; and his brother, Jeffrey Mullins.
Along with his mother, Dorothy Little Tackett; he is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

With heavy hearts, we honor the life of Joseph Kyle McLemore, a deeply loved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Joseph will be remembered for his kind heart, his strength, his humor, and the way he made the people he loved feel safe, seen and cherished.
He was a true fighter with a beautiful soul, and someone who wore his heart on his sleeve, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Sparks; his father, Harvey McLemore; and his cousin, P.J. Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen McLemore of Frankfort, Kentucky; his three children, Haley Combs of California, Jessica McLemore Moseley of Lexington, and Makayla Madden of Shepherdsville; his mother, Alice Feltner of Jenkins; his one brother, Christopher McLemore of Jenkins, his two sisters, Alisha McLemore of Jenkins, and Jeannie Goff of Pikeville; and many other family and friends that will miss him greatly.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. -Psalm 116:15
He will always be loved and never forgotten by those who knew him best.
