I’ve been sitting with an idea that I’m incredibly excited about, and I’d love to see if there are other families who would be interested in bringing it to life.
I want to create The House of Shadows, a youth-focused paranormal investigation group designed specifically for kids who are fascinated by ghosts, cemeteries, history, and the unexplained.
But this wouldn’t simply be a group of kids walking through cemeteries looking for ghosts.
My vision is to teach them how to become responsible paranormal investigators.
The kids would learn about cemetery etiquette and preservation, historical research, investigating claims objectively, documenting evidence, using investigation equipment, photography, audio recording, environmental observations, and—most importantly—how to approach the paranormal with an open mind while still thinking critically.
We would teach them that being a paranormal investigator isn’t about automatically deciding that something is a ghost. It’s about asking questions, researching the history, looking for natural explanations, documenting what you experience, and allowing the evidence to speak for itself.
I also want the group to develop a genuine appreciation for the people and stories behind the names on those old stones. Every grave has a story, and learning those stories would be just as important as investigating the unexplained.

• Respect for the dead and their families
• Learning how to conduct an investigation responsibly
And of course, it would be age-appropriate, supervised, respectful, and family-friendly.
I want these kids to have the opportunity to explore their curiosity in a structured environment where they can learn, ask questions, build confidence, and develop real investigative skills.
There is something incredibly special about watching a child who is fascinated by the unknown turn that curiosity into research, history, science, storytelling, and critical thinking.
That is the vision behind The House of Shadows. 🖤
