Language is learned best through connection, not memorization. 🧠🤝

This doesn’t mean that
❌ flashcards are bad and entirely unhelpful
❌ all structure is harmful
❌ worksheets and flashcards are useless

It means
✅ celebrate creativity in play and learning
✅ be flexible with what learners need
✅ prioritize connection and engagement
✅ adapt learning materials to a child’s interests

It’s really not about the materials, and much more about the perspective 👓

As a speech therapist, let me clarify…I won't force anyone to do anything! It's not how kids learn, and it's definitely not how you build trust. Vulnerability is key in learning, and coercion isn't the way to form a connection. Don't even ask!
