The school year will be starting soon... have you thought about your own body lately?

Parents of young children spend a surprising amount of time loaded on one side, whether it is a toddler on the hip or a car seat carried in one hand. The body adapts to that repetition, and over months the muscles on one side start doing noticeably more work than the other. If one shoulder or hip has been complaining more than the other, that pattern is often the reason.

Don't be hard on yourself... you're doing your best, parents! Be sure to take good care of yourselves, too. You deserve it!

We are so excited to welcome a new team member to the Body Logic family.

Megan became a massage therapist to help others feel better in their bodies and grow their mind-body awareness for a safer and healthier experience. After teaching yoga for several years and earning her 500-hour yoga teaching certificate, she decided to leave the corporate world and focus solely on yoga and massage therapy. Her techniques are restorative, therapeutic, intentional, and aim to leave her clients feeling relaxed and renewed. When she's not in the massage room, she enjoys traveling, playing with her dogs, and sitting down with a good detective novel.
