Neptune Virginia Beach Service Manager Sara Likens and Funeral Director Amber Edsall had a wonderful time attending the Virginia Beach City Government Mayor’s Commission on Aging Senior Showcase, which drew more than 250 folks from the community.
Sara and Amber had the chance to share information about our services, and answered questions about how we support families with care, dignity, and guidance.
"We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful community event and to meet so many incredible people," Sara said.

Neptune Virginia Beach Funeral Director Amber Edsall and Office Coordinator Kristina Byrd celebrated the bounty of summer and their community, volunteering with the Virginia Beach Task Force on Aging’s annual Farmer’s Market to benefit residents at Russell House, and donating berries.
“All groceries are expenses, and unfortunately, fresh produce can be a big cost for seniors. Going to a Farmers Market is now a luxury,” said Russell House Regional Director Sandy Walker. “This event was a fabulous idea, and our residents loved it! Thank you, VBTFA!”
