Today we wrapped up our Snack Box Challenge with our residents, staff, family, and friends! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone in our community who supported this fun activity for our residents. Your generosity, encouragement, and participation helped make this event a wonderful success.

We truly couldn’t provide these special moments and fun activities without the amazing support of our community. Thank you for helping us create smiles, laughter, and lasting memories. We appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️

🌼 A Heartfelt Thank You to Happily Ever Homestead 🌼

Today, we’d like to give a special thank you to Happily Ever Homestead in Springfield, Illinois. They’re not only an incredible local family homestead—they also happen to be our neighbors just down the road! If you’ve ever traveled to Bomke’s Pumpkin Patch, you’ve likely driven right past them.

Happily Ever Homestead is a small family homestead with a few dairy cows, providing fresh milk and other homemade goods to our community. But today, it wasn’t the milk that touched our hearts—it was the kindness of their children.

Their sweet kids planted a patch of wildflowers and proudly displayed a simple sign that read, “Free Flowers.” 💐

This morning, we stopped by, picked a beautiful bouquet, and brought the flowers back to Cass County Senior Living & Rehabilitation, where our residents turned them into lovely table arrangements. The smiles, conversations, and joy those flowers brought were truly priceless.

It’s acts of kindness like these that remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community. Thank you, Happily Ever Homestead, for helping brighten our residents’ day and for showing that even the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference. ❤️

No matter how many years go by, the twinkle in a little one’s eye still has the power to spark joy and bring the biggest smiles. 💙

Today, we had a very special little visitor at our nursing home, and everyone had been eagerly anticipating the visit. From the moment our tiny guest arrived, the smiles were endless, the laughter was contagious, and there was no shortage of baby rocking and sweet cuddles.

Moments like these remind us that joy knows no age. The love shared between generations is truly something special, and today’s visit filled our hearts in the very best way.
