🌼 A Heartfelt Thank You to Happily Ever Homestead 🌼
Today, we’d like to give a special thank you to Happily Ever Homestead in Springfield, Illinois. They’re not only an incredible local family homestead—they also happen to be our neighbors just down the road! If you’ve ever traveled to Bomke’s Pumpkin Patch, you’ve likely driven right past them.
Happily Ever Homestead is a small family homestead with a few dairy cows, providing fresh milk and other homemade goods to our community. But today, it wasn’t the milk that touched our hearts—it was the kindness of their children.
Their sweet kids planted a patch of wildflowers and proudly displayed a simple sign that read, “Free Flowers.” 💐
This morning, we stopped by, picked a beautiful bouquet, and brought the flowers back to Cass County Senior Living & Rehabilitation, where our residents turned them into lovely table arrangements. The smiles, conversations, and joy those flowers brought were truly priceless.
It’s acts of kindness like these that remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community. Thank you, Happily Ever Homestead, for helping brighten our residents’ day and for showing that even the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference. ❤️
