$50 off through October 7 on injectables and lasers 💥

Offer valid for neurotoxins, filler, skin tightening, vein treatment, microneedling, laser hair removal, feminine rejuvenation and fractionated laser resurfacing.

Fall is the right window for any resurfacing treatment anyway, since you want pink skin settling well before the holidays rather than during them.

Tox takes about two weeks to fully settle and filler needs time to integrate, so booking now puts you in good shape for anything you have coming up in November.

Offer valid through October 7. Cannot be combined with other offers.

Appointments are limited, call to reserve your spot and mention this offer

The oxygen facial is the one to book when your skin needs to look good by Friday

Pressurized oxygen drives hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins and antioxidants past the surface layer, deeper than anything you smooth on at home can reach.

Red light follows. It works on the cells responsible for building collagen, and the skin looks plumper and firmer before you’re off the table.

There are no needles, no peeling and nothing to recover from. This is the oxygen facial you book the morning of an event rather than two weeks out.

$200 through September, regularly $275.

Appointments are limited, call to reserve your spot.

PDGF is the growth factor your body sends to a wound to start rebuilding. We apply it straight into the channels.

SkinPen® creates thousands of micro channels in the skin, and ariessence pure PDGF+ goes on while those channels are still open, so the growth factor lands exactly where repair is already underway.

It's recombinant, made in a lab rather than spun from your own blood. No draw, no vials, no waiting on a centrifuge, and the concentration is identical in every treatment. Four ingredients in the bottle, one of them hyaluronic acid.

It signals collagen and elastin production, supports tissue repair, and shortens the window where your skin looks pink and raw after microneedling.

Through September, $100 off the ariessence pure PDGF+ add on.

Appointments are limited, call to reserve your spot.

SMAS stands for superficial musculoaponeurotic system, and it’s the layer that actually holds a facelift.

Think of it as a sheet of connective tissue and muscle that sits between your skin and the deeper structures of the face. It runs from the cheek down into the neck, and it’s the layer that loosens and descends over time.

Skin is elastic, so pulling on it alone stretches out again within a year or two. A SMAS facelift lifts and repositions that deeper sheet instead, then lays the skin back over it with no tension holding it in place.

That’s the difference people are really asking about when they ask what SMAS means in a facelift. The technique varies from there, SMAS plication, SMASectomy, deep plane, and which one suits you comes down to your anatomy.

Perioral CO2 laser resurfacing 💥

The skin around the mouth is in constant motion, so it etches lines deeper than almost anywhere else on the face. Filler can support the area but it won't resurface it, and this is the zone where CO2 tends to earn its reputation.

Perioral CO2 works by removing the damaged surface in a controlled pattern and letting new collagen fill in underneath. Vertical lip lines soften, the border sharpens, and the texture evens out over the months that follow.

Recovery is the trade off. Expect around a week of visible healing with pink skin fading gradually after that, which is why a lot of patients book this in autumn ahead of the holidays.

The question we hear most is whether CO2 laser works on smoker's lines. In the right depth and the right hands, this is what it can do.

Wondering what this would look like on you? Book your complementary consultation today

Two patients can have the same upper blepharoplasty and end up with completely different scars.

You've probably seen the reason without knowing what caused it. A healed eyelid incision with small dots or crosshatch marks running along either side, like ties on a railroad track. Those marks are punctures left by the stitches themselves.

Interrupted stitches pass through the surface of the skin, and each one leaves its own tiny puncture. Eyelid skin is the thinnest on the body, so those punctures can heal as permanent dots or as small tracts along the suture path, and they often end up more visible than the incision line.

Dr. Moradi closes every upper blepharoplasty with a running subcuticular 6-0 suture, finer than a human hair, that travels beneath the skin and never crosses the surface. That leaves the incision itself, tucked into the natural crease of the lid, as the only thing that has to heal.

The full post covers why closure technique matters more on the eyelid than almost anywhere else, and the one question worth asking any surgeon before you book: https://moradimd.com/blog/no-railroad-tracks-how-suture-technique-determines-your-eyelid-scar/
