Raven knows a thing or two about mental exhaustion. 😂🐾

Between keeping an eye on Puppy Class and demonstrating how the grown-ups behave, a girl's work is never done.

And that's your reminder that dogs don't always need miles of walking to have a satisfying day. Training, sniffing, puzzles and other brain work can be wonderfully tiring too~especially when summer temperatures make a long walk less appealing.

Just ask Raven. She's adorable...and exhausted. 💚Such a good girl✨🐾

Rain may be one of our quieter puppy students, but she is very observant~and pretty sure she’s identified a small logistical problem. 😂

Smart, sweet, and absolutely adorable, this little girl has stolen more than a few hearts around here. 💚

Even the teachers do their homework. 😉

No matter how much experience you have, great training never really ends. It's about practicing, refining, and building habits that become second nature—for both ends of the leash.

Darcy may be a bit of a "ringer" in Intermediate class, but every great team keeps showing up, keeps learning, and keeps having fun together.

Sometimes the best students are the ones who never stop being willing to practice. 🐾💚So, even though Darcy may have the inside scoop, she still has to earn her cookies like everyone else. 🦴🐾Good girl, Darcy!🥰

🐾 Training Truth

Hot days don't have to mean taking a break from learning.

When it's too warm for long walks or outdoor adventures, spend just 5 minutes on focused training instead. Those few minutes can challenge your dog's mind, strengthen your communication, and leave them feeling accomplished—all without overheating.

When the weather says, "Stay inside...it's hot out here!" let your dog use their brain instead of their paws. Small sessions today build skills that last a lifetime.

🎓 Congratulations to Our Newest Basic Obedience Graduates! 🎉🐾

Every graduating class has its own personality, and this one certainly kept us smiling from beginning to end.

🐾 Juno first stole our hearts back in Puppy Class when she confidently claimed a chair as her own. 😄 Since then, she's continued to blossom into a focused, eager learner. Smart, confident, and always ready for the next adventure, Juno has been a joy to watch grow.

🐾 Ace also returned from Puppy Class ready to keep building on a great foundation. Steady, thoughtful, energetic, and eager to learn, he and his family have put in the work, and it shows in the wonderful progress they've made together.

🐾 Coco may be the smallest graduate in the class, but she has one of the biggest personalities. Bright, fuzzy, and completely irresistible, she had everyone wrapped around her tiny paw. Thankfully, she's just as talented at learning as she is at charming everyone she meets!

🐾 Pivot is our beautiful little black panther—sleek, striking, and impossible not to notice with those gorgeous eyes. Behind all that beauty is an incredibly smart, sweet girl who loves to learn and consistently impressed us with her focus and willingness to work.

🐾 Tally has worked so hard alongside her dad, and watching the two of them grow together has been one of the highlights of this class. Every week they became a stronger team, building communication, confidence, and trust one step at a time.

Congratulations to all of our graduates and their wonderful families! Thank you for showing up, putting in the practice, and investing in the relationship you share with your dogs. We can't wait to see where your training journey takes you next! 💚🐾

Meet Moksha.

Behind every adorable puppy face is a busy little brain trying to figure out how the world works. Sometimes that means making wonderful choices...and sometimes it means inventing entirely new ones.

Puppyhood isn't about perfection—it's about learning, practicing, and building communication one success at a time. With patience, consistency, and a little sense of humor, those "naughty puppy moments" become the foundation for a confident, well-mannered adult dog.

(And yes...the ears deserve their own fan club. 🐾💚)

🎓🐾 Congratulations to our newest Intermediate Graduates! 🐾🎓

Please join us in celebrating Lady, Bear, Frankie, Darcy, and Mabel on completing our Intermediate class! 💚

Intermediate is where the foundation built in Basic really begins to come together. We take the skills our teams already know and gradually make them stronger, more reliable, and more practical for everyday life.

Dogs learn to:
🐾 Hold longer stays with increasing distance.
🐾 Maintain focused while working around distractions.
🐾 Build a more reliable heel.
🐾 Respond consistently to both verbal cues and hand signals.
🐾 Learn new skills like Stand, Side, emergency turns, send-aways, figure 8s, and more.

One of our favorites is adding "Stand" to the "puppy pushups"~asking dogs to move smoothly between sit, down, and stand. It may sound simple, but it builds body awareness, confidence, and thoughtful responses instead of automatic guessing.

The first class often feels a little busy as everyone settles in. Dogs notice every sound, every person, and every other dog in the room. But by Weeks 3 and 4, something wonderful starts to happen. The room gets quieter. Eyes begin to stay on their people. Dogs learn that even with distractions around them, their best choice is to work as a team.

That kind of focus takes practice...and a lot of thinking! Mental exercise can be just as tiring as physical exercise, which is why so many of our graduates head home ready for a well-earned nap after class. 💤🐶

Every graduate has their own journey. From Bear discovering his confidence, to Lady proving that sometimes a meerkat stuffed toy is the ultimate reward, to Frankie, Darcy, and Mabel continuing to build on their already impressive skills, each team reminded us that progress doesn't look exactly the same—and that's what makes watching these partnerships grow so rewarding.

🐾 Training Truths

Focus isn't something dogs simply have. It's something they learn.

Every time a dog chooses to check in with their person instead of a distraction, they're practicing an important life skill.

Those small choices build focus, confidence, and trust. Over time, they become calmer walks, better communication, and a stronger partnership.

Like any skill, focus grows through practice, patience, and thoughtful guidance.

Together, we build it. 💚
