The Jersey Sound Chorus returned for another visit, filling the room with their signature four-part harmonies! 🎶

The best part came at the end, when they invited resident Bernadette to join them for the final song. Bernadette was a longtime member of the Upper Chesapeake Chapter of Sweet Adelines in Maryland, so getting to sing alongside the group again made the evening that much more special.

We always love having them visit and can’t wait to welcome them back!

Our Tropical Paradise Celebration was an afternoon to remember! Guests were transported to the Caribbean through a delicious array of tropical-inspired fare, including shrimp and chicken kabobs, sliders, coconut shrimp, and refreshing piña coladas. The sounds of the Chris Albert Band set the perfect tone as residents and team members danced, laughed, and celebrated together throughout the afternoon. It was a beautiful celebration of community, connection, and the joy of making memories together. What a wonderful reminder of just how much fun we can have at The Residence at Voorhees! ☀️🌴🎶🌺

For those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, the comfort of a familiar routine can make a meaningful difference. 💜

Consistent daily rhythms can help reduce confusion, create a sense of security, support independence, and make everyday moments feel more manageable. But routine doesn’t mean every day has to look the same — there’s still plenty of room for meaningful engagement, connection, celebrations, and joy.

In our latest blog, we explore why thoughtful, person-centered routines are such an important part of quality memory care and how even the smallest familiar moments can help someone feel supported and at home.
