Strength training isn't an alternative to rehab. IT IS REHAB.
The line between the training floor and the rehab floor doesn't exist here, no matter your age.
Loading a tissue is how you heal it. Progressive overload is how you rebuild it. Consistency is how you protect it from breaking again.
The idea that strength training and physical therapy are separate disciplines is one of the most expensive myths in sports medicine. It keeps people in two different waiting rooms when they should be in one well-programmed session.
At ATA, your rehab is prescribed like training. Your training is coached like rehab. Because for the body, there is no difference.
